More baby hats

...well the response was so positive on the Organic Cotton/Wool baby hat (www.spinnery.com), that I've found more of the same yarn in peony pink, and maize yellow. I'm knitting up the pink hats for Shari & Dave's little girl (Megan, born in June) and my cousin Ed & Linda's new little girl (Amanda, born in early July). I'll knit a yellow one for Anna & Hamid as well as for Matty & Dre (due the end of August), who were both retro enough to not find out the gender of their babies ahead of the birth. I'm forgetting a baby - oh, that's right, Andrew & Jen are due in October and that will be a yellow as well...

... we celebrated in lovely Newport, RI and enjoyed the japanese festival going on... yes, it featured sumo wrestling...

Nice surprise at the Dentist

Wow, had no idea there was such a cool wool store in Needham Centre. I was trying to kill some time after my Friday afternoon dentist appointment before hitting the Pike and found "The Black Sheep". They had an adorable baby hat (with knot top) knit in Green Mountain Spinnery's Organic Cotton and Wool blend. I bought some blue yarn and proceed to knit up a hat for Rasekh & Nermeen's little one (expected in September).
